My beloved, you drove yours, I drove mine.
So selfish! Nothing more surreal after making that wrong turn,
Which had taken us into the deep ravine, wounded and hurt.
We lived in solitude and glorified of being alone,
Surviving the pain and learning the partiality of man,
Consequences we endure while gathering our strengths,
Slowly, we are healing from our broken memories
A past that’s seared with scars; bringing forth to God for its cure.
Voila! Great things happen, we're always blessed!
No longer driving yours or driving mine,
Not even you drive mine nor I drive yours,
But take turns and trust in each other’s arms,
And to drive together following the path that God has shown.
Happy Valentine, my love!
