My Nightin-Girl

by Aeshish

Once among the horde, thou intruded into my wave of thoughts, And left them shattered, bewildered, unanswered behind. Walked along the moment, analyzing the existence I’d just crossed Finding reasons, why I couldn’t halt the picture in the portrait. Next dawn, while steps were panicking, counting stairs Thou stood so, as the whole nature halted all at once, Gazing could’ve healed that fine sunrise, though didn’t attempt Heart got misplaced then only, which now surrounds you. Now at 02:00, I figure, your simplicity is a deep abyss, Into which, I ain’t afraid to dive, neither of the depth, Just striking the surface threatens me, Can’t picture now the absence of yours, that unreal world. You being my Nightin-girl, thou start it all, thou hit the end; Once, will settle all the entropies you’ve shivered within the soul, Will blow the boundaries, script the histories, but some other day, As today, like every tomorrow, I’m watching, I’m loving you.
