Sometimes I smile uncontrollably
And in those moments, happy is all I can be
Even though these feels are too few and far between,
I try to cherish them and keep them within
Breathing is not laboured on such occasions
The cars passing outside my window are not as annoying
The voices inside my head are not as loud,
Or at least not as angry
My face is not as hideous, not as dark
My smile is not as crooked,
Or maybe it is and I just don't care as much
The weather is not as hot, nor as cold, it is just right
I don't look at the ground much when I walk,
There's a little bounce in my step
There's a little volume in my speech when I talk,
A little giggle behind every word
And there's a little you behind all these magical moments
