The teacher told me a dozen times
Not to lean my chair back against the wall,
Because one of these days, I’ll lean back too far
And take a great fall.

But I never listened to her, and
Continued to lean back against the wall.
Then one day it happened…But Only Because
She kicked back legs of the chair, and I slammed
                     My head against the wall.

Well I was unconscious for about an hour,
She went to the First Aid room and returned
With a wet cloth and smelling salts
And when I recovered, she said, “Now I hope you                       learned.”

Yeah, I learned alright! And she learned too!
That Big Bubba doesn’t get mad, he get’s even.
I stopped leaning my chair back against the wall,
But, Ha Ha Ha! I put a tack in her chair, and you should have heard her squall!

This poem is UNTRUE. I did lean my chair against the wall behind me,
and one of my best enemies, kicked the back legs and down I went. He thought it was pretty funny until his nose started bleeding...
