I am the firewood,
You are the flame.
You shared me your warmth,
You set me ablaze.

We keep on bursting,
Expressing our feeling.
We keep on burning,
The heat we are sharing.

Let's treasure this moment,
This might be the last.
The fire that we're making,
Will not gonna last.

I'm still the burning fuel,
And you are the fire.
I'm charmed by your words,
And full of desire.

These fire won't last forever,
And soon I'll turn to ember.
I'm sure you would not remember,
The time we've been together.

And still I'm fascinated, how...
How things just slowly ended.
The things I least expected,
Were swept and slowly faded.

And still beneath these piles of ashes,
A glowing ember, seeking your fire.
Just shouting its one final cry,
Until it weakens, until it dies.
