The feet on the floor, your heart shows on your hands
I move with your arms, but not the way we know.
You know me well, we know this, why can you see through my layers?
But I can’t... not the way we know
Your limbs are my sea, the way the sun moves
You know, we could do this again?
But not the way we know.
Not now.
Your face lights up the place.
The way you show your eyes on the wall
But not the way I know, only the right one.
I have loved and lost, and loved again.
But knowing makes all the difference
The only way we know.
