Hourglass

The sand is draining

Each grain hits with a tick

Like the steady beating of a clock

Tick Tick Tick

The noise is taunting

Its impossible to stop

The beating carries on

Tick Tick Tick

No one else can hear it

A burden for my ears only

Its a secret

I want to tell

Tick Tick Tick

A burden

I feel like I'm suffocating

The secret is my end

My hourglass cant last forever

Tick Tick...

The last grain falls
