They resist sleep, they barter
with only chalk
         and soon after
re-appear as deer follow.
Intentional iris grows, eagles
whirl Spanish letters,
           javelins of
feathered jade.
Thence creeps
        the English silence
between 1736 and A Preface.
         Defy the book,
entertain your fellows.
        After De Landa’s fires
a yellow canine seeded
assertion, naked from the middle,
es cadaver, es polvo, es sombra, es nada.
