under the seas
a ship sunk many years ago...
rusty now and fishes slip in and out
of her dark depths....
wandering corridors once floated
drifting dreams and chandeliers
people on a quest....
now lies dank cold and wet
their bones white as snow
sunk far beneath the waves
ghosts shimmer in the gloom
where sharks swim...
a woman's hair in currents sways
her eyes long gone...
her bony fingers grasping... reaching
for something far above
as fishes hide and seek
in her bones
