As I walk through life's green fields
Picking freely from the yields,
A thankless demeanor I carry about
And the life I lead will never amount
To the fruit stolen from the vine,
The fruit to nurture another mind.

I think to myself: if I was another,
Would I still be so fruitless?
If my fruit went to another brother,
Would he be as useless?
