To Break These Wounds
I want to scream out
But these private moments
Are not my own
To voice
I place faith in an emptiness
Feeding the hollow in my chest
Waiting out these tribulations
To cast my shadow
A new generation
So I hide until I die inside
A little time is all it takes
To break these wounds
Condemn me
For wanting
To taste the temptation
Of a lifetime achieved
With fists clenched towards an abyss
I bury my knees to the ground
Waiting out these tribulations
To cast my shadow
A new generation
So I hide until I die inside
A little time is all it takes
To break these wounds
I place faith in my emptiness
With fists clenched towards an abyss
I bury my knees into my chest
And sever this hollow ground
So I hide until I die inside
A new generation
My shadow cast aside
