They laugh,
But I keep dancing.
They laugh at how I look,
What I wear,
What I eat,
They laugh
At what i love.
But i let them.
I let them laugh because who am I?
Who am I to ruin the fun?
I give them new reasons to laugh.
From a failed makeup attempt,
To my art,
To my writing,
But i let them laugh.
I let them laugh because i like seeing them happy.
Sometimes i dance to the song in my head.
But,
When i want to dance and there is no music,
I dance to the sound of mockery.
They laugh.
They mock.
I dance.
