Jan 2018
She lies next to me
In a twisted embrace
Slumbering eternally

Soaked bedsheets
Cling to every curve
Of her disfigured cadaver

I recall the purpose
In her last whisper
Was a pleading

To her love forever

Etched into a sordid memory
That scars the withering
Of my heart
