Jan 2018
Forced smiles,
grey skies,
fading spirits,
no children laughing
on the murky streets,
Bills to be paid,
so they scurry to work
dragging their feet,
back to the grind they go,
reluctance and
Sombre in tow,
Just another day of putting on a show
For what you ask? Nobody knows
