Love is as blind as a bat.
It is cold,
Stubborn,
And cruel as well.
But love is also the bag of ice to make your wounds not swell.

Sometimes I want to scream and slap him in the face.
Make him see the things I do.
Give him the wisdom of an elephant,
And make him know love when it is true.

Love is blind as a bat.
He doesn't see what she is doing to him.
Love is a daze and a tornado in the summer.
He gets caught up in a storm not meant for him.
Love is mean,
And tough.
And yes rough,
And I'll be there when he's had enough.

I'll be here waiting for him when he realizes she is not the right person for him to be with. I'll be here when he gets cataract surgery and finally sees we belong together. I'll be here when he is no longer as blind as a bat.

Blind as a Bat
Love this poem. Totally relatable and TOTALLY ME! Love if you are going through the same stuff
