To A Lover

You pulled me closer,
Placed your hands around my back,
We gazed; deep; a smile.

2. To An Enemy

Ferocious devil,
Taunting me with weapon words,
Knife in my spine; hurt.

3. A Snowflake

Constellation falls,
Arrangement of gentle snow,
My fingers are chilled.

4. Frozen Lake

Swift; people skating,
Summer swimming has now passed,
Lake alive with gloves.

5. Frost In Early Spring

Sun warms the daytime,
Then the moon brings in the chill,
I awake to frost.

6. Sweethearts Rose

An emblem of love,
A token of emotions,
To watch root and grow.

7. Lily For The Dead

On a bleak, black day,
Blooms bright with heavenly light,
It wilts by their side.

8. Deeper Dungeon

No prison or cave,
But a hollow hole inside,
Guilt destroys the soul.

9. To The Soldiers

Braver men aren’t born,
March to the edge; fight and die,
Too young to forget.

10. She Sings Her Song

Lonely old lady,
Hums aloud her endless tune,
Dreams her mind away.

11. Under The Cross

I tremble in church,
Scared that He knows of my sins,
Fear the wrath of God.

12. Private Prayer

He kneels in his room,
Whispers words to the heavens,
Imagined comfort.

13. Hymn To Hum

Notation noted,
My memorable melody,
Lightly lightens life.

14. Pump Through My Veins

I own the dance floor,
Music pumping through my veins,
With substances; cold.

15. Hold Me

Gently trace fingers,
Guide your arms behind my back,
Embrace this body.

16. Touch Me

Remove my clothing,
Let your hands roam anywhere,
Keep on touching me.

17. Kissing You

Our eyes closing shut,
Lips begin to part and meet,
Our first taste; divine.

18. When The Curtains Close

It’s still light outside,
As we shut ourselves away,
Make love through the night.

19. Connection

They look; stolen glance,
Locked eyes just for a moment,
Simple connection.

20. Timeless and Ageless

Like a love letter,
Better weather after snow,
My feelings for you.
