(Song title from The Beatles’ catalogue, by Lennon/McCartney)

I shut myself inside the darkness,
In the blackness of my mind,
I scream aloud and call her name,
I shout for help yet feel the same.

I close my eyes to the mirrored-self,
An image of someone hurt,
I grip to the edge of my life,
I need help to escape this strife.
