Poems
Jan 2018
(For 2017)
To the dark she went
And slouched and wept
She'd once been queen
Had had her win
Was once a golden sunset
A splattering rain
A pleasant love nest
And tears she drain
She'd been music played
Soft, smooth and sweet
And even if voices delayed
Heads had nodded to beat
Though at her death eve
She forsook binds and tie
Taking life she can't give
Causing for cry and sigh
As death she falls, cold
Her tale has been told
Another her place take
Her term is in the wake
Though it's now all a blur
She'd once been
Though she's lost her lure
She'd once sheen
As her lyrics fade
As her smile dies
My farewell I did bade
As a new sun rise
