AIDS

Shutting down, My immune system fails, Vulnerable to the germs that breed about the town, One mistake, Protection wasn’t used, Vulnerable to the taunts that make my soft heart break. Although my heart is broken, Words only cut so deep, I know that I am human, Even as I drift to endless sleep.
