The survivor,
Outlived the dinosaurs,
Pathetic creatures running from the sun,
We stayed safe in our wetland,
Feeling pretty clever, pretty grand.

We terrify,
Our teeth are sharp,
But we swim as smooth and silent as a harp,
I'm smiling,
Smiling at you.
