Surrounded by reasons I should stay,
I try to follow you,
I still burn for you,
Would turn for you,
Would break, bend and banish for you,
But steel bars hold me captive,
And no matter how much I cry,
How many times I crack and snap,
The rods of bitter steel stand up,
Proud against my raging.
