The streets lights make everything bright
They make me think about last summer night
Where we were just fine and everything was right
Then the fall came you moved and took flight
I tried to keep you but it was a battle I could not fight
If I could change the past, the end of us I would rewrite
You were no longer my damsel, I was no longer your knight
I had dreams of this day... It was more of a fright
That was the last time we could kiss under the street light
