I met you for coffee in a little café,
Little in size - Starbucks was its name,
It was the perfect place to act out my scene,
Of turning a friend into the lover of my dreams,
But i turned to a child and shied away,
As i held out my hand,
Cold winds pushed it my way.

If i told you i loved you, would you laugh in my face?
Or purchase more coffee to take us through time and space?
I lost myself in the scent of your smile,
And i stopped to ponder the magic for a while,
I'll never forget our stolen afternoon in a little café,
Where our flowers came full bloom.
