Captain of my corner,
I defend my niche,
I look across the water at all that might have been,
Your reflection is still in the mist of my eyes,
Though it fades each time i cry,
Your scent is in the air that i breathe,
But as i exhale it dwindles and leaves,
I try to stand to tall on this mountain top,
Though below the surface i crumble and stop,
I stop to see what i could have become,
A saviour, a lover, a murderer, a ****,
I'm over,
I'm gone,
I'm stuck,
I'm alone.
