I took a ride on the gospel train,
I saw Jesus with a gun,
He stood smiling as he shot me dead,
Underneath the evening sun.

I took a ride on the gospel train,
I saw Mary drowning God,
She stood smiling as he breathed his last,
On a cross, nails through his rod.

I took a ride on the gospel train,
I saw Judas saying prayers,
He stood crying as he asked his words,
But he knew no one was there.

I took a ride on the gospel train,
I saw myself from behind,
I stood laughing as i bent on down,
To let Jesus seek and find.
