Democracy

by @nickblockonelove

There's nothing holding me back From what I can escape So hold me close as we attempt to break Free of all of that hate And all of that pain There's nothing left holding you back It's time to escape Write down a list of your fears Let it go with the flame It can't be so simple When you wander down the middle The road I can't stand em A character Generic He's an embarrassment The one guy who did it better Remember Why go right When the left gives more The people Shouldn't get a handout Make me work for my fame The shame Treat it like a game The life Knight takes the Rook Shit, The Rook just claimed Brooklyn! Shout out to Lin Manuel All go witness Hamilton There's nothing holding me back From what I can escape So hold me close as we attempt to break Free of all of that hate And all of that pain There's nothing left holding you back It's time to escape Write down a list of your fears Let it go with the flame Look at all I hold dear Dancing in the dark It’s nonstopping Here what I say You can’t let the illusion Practicality Guide your way Round the greens Round the earth You can’t let the illusion Democracy Show you the truth It may be there Sometimes it’s not But it’s all most got Go and lose your mind It could hurt a little
