I awoke to see my face,
A reflection of depravity,
Down and darkly depressed,
Under the captive morning dew,
I collapse and I break.

I do not wish for much,
But I wish now for freedom,
Freedom from fancy facades,
I wish to be slowly leaving my body,
Removing myself from I,
And I from me.

I am not alone yet I am one,
One whose imaginings,
Capture, trap, destroy,
Until I am slowly leaving my body,
Until I die.
