Counted my blessings and counted my days,
Looked to the stars shrouded in purple haze,
Ran the mile long walk so i'd win the race,
But desolation on every corner struck my face,
Such is the season of my breaking heart,
But you deny you're taking part,
In the sin of killing my soul,
And i find myself shaded by the cover of the hole,
I dug in deep and found myself some strength,
But you were right there hurting me at length,
Love can be an evil and twisted game,
And since you left me here alone - it's not been the same.
