Who'll be number one?

In Iraq lest we forget,
Is a man,
Who fights with his gun.

Front-page news is a tale of sin,
Because we know what could have been,
There could have been peace,
There could have been rest,
There could have been love,
That would have been best,
Instead there is war,
Instead there is death,
Instead there is loss,
Well would you have guessed?

A man he dies fighting for his home,
Been invaded by those who go to calm,
Democracy is the aim,
But how many died in vain on the way?
A child is alone,
No mother, no father, no food, no one to know,
Is it right?
Is it fair?

Bush, he is going for gold,
Front-page news is what he is,
Taking the spotlight from a land he destroyed,
They have a voice,
They should be heard.
