Dec 2017
Free upon me your mess.
Your will stays mindlessly my own
Don’t be confused by my defiance
Take that to heart

Don’t be fooled by others
I can navigate your treasured
Don’t succumb to fears of handcuffs
Gently I will bend

But do kneel beside me or before
My hands upon your crown of broken feathers
I will lift you higher than your mind reaches
Bathing you in swollen breaths of truth

Question me or us
I will slather you with comely replies
Distance us or you,
I will distance first.
Solitude be it you or I
It shall be you.

Let me have you
You will not forget it
The pain lessens.
This I vow
To uphold my end
And you don’t fend off yours
