Everyone said it would pass
"This isn't you" "It won't last"
I don't care what they say
This is me, this is today
I don't plan for tomorrow
Or look back at yesterday, so?
Nothing is truly s phase for a person
we aren't a moon phase, we're its sun
Like the moon wouldn't have its phases
Unless it had a sun for its changes
We're the sun, permanent and same
What you call a phase, i call came
It came and stayed, i did and will do
What I am or will be is not a concern to you
I am me, not  a haze
This is who I am, not a phase
