Splash splash, blood trickles down,
Big old boots in my heart stomping around.
A child in a puddle, you don't take care,
Or even notice the damage there.
I can barely breathe, and then you say,
"Why is it that you feel this way?"
Little girl, it's all a game.
Don't you know that love is pain.
I like you, I really do,
But you're not allowed to like me too.
What's that coming down your face?
Crying, that's such a disgrace.
Toughen up, you care too much,
But you're so pretty, can I touch?
Remember to avert your eyes.
Don't dare question any lies.
You've still got a lot to learn.
Girls like you were meant to burn.
