"'Til death do us part"
But did you mean it with your heart?
Married for a wealthy pursuit
No choice. my voice was mute.
Our wedding, by our parents, was arranged
For a moment i felt it strange.
I thought I loved you so
But its a lie, now I know.
Just like your mother with this gold
My heart was yours, fire and bold.
We had the greatest of memories
Everything for our children as stories.
You crushed my heart when you left
Like wind in a hurry, you were deft.
I lost my job when i got sick
Three months 'til my clock's last tick.
No more money coming through the door
Left me with two kids, you took no more.
Struggling to keep them fed with death near
Your kids are crying, can't you hear?
Gold Digger you are, glad you're gone
They'll stay with my mother since you're done.
It's my final day, i hope you're happy
Now don't you dare get sappy.
Remember what we said at our start
"Forever together, 'til death do us part."
