Falling from love, I’m falling from you
I’ve tumbled to earth and fell to the ground
breaking my heart along love’s way
Lifting myself up to my feet, I live.

My one mistake was in loving you so
I believed in the man, a blind fool’s regret.
How could I have known the child I’d met
Always playing the game.

As I look to the past I’m beginning to see
It was all about you and nothing for me,
I was played like a fool and where were you?
Falling from love and me.
