Dec 2017
Shadows shapeshift to the dance of dawn
When light breaks fervently, bashing the longevity of night
Illumination recedes the black arms that wraps around me

Like shouting matches, the roosters bellow
Enchanted by the rising sun at the horizon
And slowly hymns rise through the haze and fog

The sight is well again, and the other senses renewed
The serpentine waters rushes
From the crystalline springs of sleep
Onto the murky waters of consciousness

Rejuvinate, illuminate
Awake and unafraid
I'm ready to face humanity again...
