Love's Voyage (Or Something Corny Like That)

As we wait upon the shore, Looking out at an endless sea. I stare deeply in your eyes and all I can see is me. Across the oceans we will roam, As we let time pass us by. For you are all the company I will ever need until I die. I embrace the future we have, As we continue on in stride. For you are the one I love, And I am happy to be your guide. My heart glows at the thought of you, And it pounds when you are near. My dearest love, please come with me On a voyage, far and clear. With my hand held in youras And a glimpse of what's beyond. My truest feelings will always last Even after these words are gone.

An old love poem I found, it's corny as hell, but I'm still proud that I managed to keep the theme of a voyage throughout without wandering off into abstraction.
