Dec 2017
Glowin’ dim, in the dark
A sight of unknown source
Hearing distant sounds and barks
The mind to take its course

Caged away, some sort of beast
Wishing to be free
Hungry for a joyous feast
Missing is the key

Ugly creature, full of fear
Destined for the great
Craving love, holding dear
Thoughts of diff’rent fates

Clouds break open, light to pierce
Fog and haze are gone
Beast has turned intense and fierce
Terrified of dawn

Away from night, he crowls in pain
But soon begins to change
Instead of beast, out of domain
A little boy estranged
