Projects Pizza

before rising crusts

before pizza houses

and Italian restaurants

before delivery

there was frozen pizza

from the supermarket

without designer labels

just clear-wrapped pizza pies

in your frozen food section

at family friendly prices

with thick cardboard crust

dried out cheese

salty pepperoni

and all but flavorless tomato sauce

it was a delicacy

to youth's uneducated palette

now awailable at your local

convenience store

cooked fresh in 90 seconds

same ol' horrible stuff

delicious as ever
