Dense midnight fog
Embraces the empty
Small town streets
And I can only see a few yards of yellow paint in front of me
The light of the full moon gives the
earth-bound cloud an ominous glow
And I'm in awe at the beauty of it
The yellow lines guide me on a path
So dark I can't see what's coming
But I know the eyes of the moon
can see where I'm headed
And if I keep moving forward, cradled by
The dense midnight fog
I'll make it to where I need to go
