The days blend together as one.
Never knowing day from night because I can never see the sun.
Alone in a world that cannot truly understand.
One man’s failure is another man’s plan.
Doubt creeps in like a thief in the night.
Devouring all common sense and hope in sight.
Hanging on by a thread I believe I won’t win the fight.
Muster up all of my strength, push back with all of my might.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Standing on my own two feet I no longer wither.
A bright light shines inside.
Bursting at the seams I no longer hide.
There’s something worth fighting for, there’s something worth seeing.
No longer a societal mess but a worthy human being.
