To truly have no care in the world
To be the one that breaks the mold
To be your only hand to hold
To care for you when you grow old
To never let my love be sold
Even when you act so cold

That is the dream I hold
deep in my soul
Clutching that dream late at night
When the house shudders and the lightning strikes
Crying into my pillow
Don't let go!
Without that dream
I don't know...
This is a very old poem. One of the first I ever wrote.
