I stared at it through the glass as it circled around the room

I could not help but feel sorry for it, as it went back to where it started, just to circle around again

I stood there for what seemed like forever, contemplating the meaning of it's existance

Waiting for it to do something new, like change it pace or its direction

It seemed to lack a purpose, with no drive and no ambition

Then all of a sudden like a ton of bricks it hit me

It was doing what it was meant to, walking out those sixty paces

As I did nothing watching the seconds tick by and wasting all my precious minutes.
