What’s left between us
I wonder.
Hear nothing but a loud thunder.
What’s left between us
I wonder…

I was young, beautiful and smart
I loved you from the depth of my heart.
Bond became stronger and legal
Oh! I never knew would be lethal.
What’s left between us
I wonder…

Our flesh and bone with life in it entered the world
My life was all turned with a toy
And I was in a bundle of joy.
What’s left between us
I wonder…

Distances give pain
There was nothing to gain
All hopes were lost
At our relationships cost.
What’s left between us
I wonder…

You gave up upon me
Left me, betrayed me, and used me
I knew all, about the forthcoming fall, evolution of a new wall.
What’s left between us
I wonder…

It was painful, piercing and hard
To get up and go for a new start.
Never knew the strength within me,
Shaking me, empowering me and helping me stand
But, without your hand.
I stood up
High up, stronger to fight it longer.
What’s left between us
I wonder…

It’s a different bond now
Not the same but
A bond to be tried upon and always be prepared
IF again …
What’s left between us
I wonder…
