Poison
Fingers curled in that,
Poison laced,
Golden hair.
You're keeping back,
All of the lies,
That she holds inside.
She's breaking you apart,
Killing you from the inside,
Poisoning your bones.
Messaged me up at three am,
Told me you'd be leaving her,
The next morning she's pulled you back.
I'm watching all of this go down,
Hating every moment,
Toxin drips down your spine.
You puked out everything you ever had,
To keep holding onto her black hand,
Your eyes are distant now.
Your beat tells you,
You can't deny,
The love you hold onto.
Your nerves tell you,
Maybe you're just trying to hide,
From her back-stabbing plan.
