As I try to balance through
this avenue of grief
your absence is relief
I still remember your voice
Your blows as I squirmed in pain
over a loss like this
I can imagine you
in your New York life
with your new wife
Making fun of me for caring
for feeling
and I am only too glad
I can't hear you
