The tree of Temptation
O how beautifully it sways
Let us climb up its trunk
On its branches we’ll play
We’ll eat of its fruit
And become full and tired
Then we’ll wake from our naps
And climb ever higher!
The farther we go
The tree’s limbs become thinner
Suddenly they snap!
And we all fall, as sinners
