Spaces
She pursed her lips,
To try to keep herself from smiling,
But of course,
Failing miserably.
She took in a sharp breath,
Holding in,
As an attempt to try to keep
Herself together.
But she couldn't.
She looked at him from across the room
And there he was,
Leaning forward on his knees,
Staring straight at her - unflinchingly.
