Being afraid isn't easy,
She was scared of ******* it up.
What "it" was, she wasn't sure,
But it made her smile a little more.

She couldn't explain it, not that she should,
All the knew was she'd be better off without you.
The problem was she fell too quickly and was in too deep.
Every moment of her life, she waited for you,
When you finally came around,
She was scared 'cause you were a lot to bare.
And she was terrified you'd disappear into thin air.

Maybe she's better off not talking to you,
Perhaps ignoring you is a better option,
Being afraid is taking over her,
You'd think by now she would've learned.
