Nov 2017
when you’re put down:
don’t stay there.
the sun doesn’t wait
for the world to awaken
so it can rise
don’t wait for
someone to depend on
who’ll whisper pretty words
into your bleeding ear
do not lean on that crutch
it will splinter and
you will have to pull out the
broken pieces of the past
do it yourself or
your will go tumbling down
do not expect
flowers and praise when you
get to the bottom.
all that awaits you is a
pile of ****.
spare yourself the drama
they will lead you
up the mountain only
to push you off the cliff
do not let the world
break you
