Nov 2017
Can you hear the listener?
When you happen to be the observed
How the black of his eye can reflect
and mirror into your own
As the same light goes back and forth
Can you hear the listener?
As an infinite pause in the eternal now
Where words find depths and sink
And that which you'd forget
Will echo back exactly as it were told

For he's the Autumn's child
With November's gift of remembrance
Every story finds a place in him
Tales that survive many a winters
